TGIF
What is TGIF?
The Friends of St Cyrs decided to hold irregular social get together where just local villagers to meet. Just like in a Pub or Hotel Bar. These are held on a Friday evenings hence the name TGIF or Thank Goodness It’s Friday!
History of TGIF
Stinchcombe has no Pub nor Hotel. The Yew Tree Inn closed a few years ago. The Prince of Wales Hotel closed during the COVID-19 epidemic. Stinchcombe is spread out into three main housing areas. The Street, Wick Lane and Taits Hill.
A means of getting people to meet is required. Hence TGIF was born.
