Tyndale Arts 2023

Tyndale Arts, 5th October – 8th October

Tyndale Arts is a testament to the spirit and talent of our local artists, who generously volunteer their time and expertise to bring this event to life. Over the past seven years, our event has grown from a simple idea into a thriving platform for affordable art, showcasing the incredible talent that resides in Cam, Dursley, and the surrounding areas. It is an entirely community-led event organised and run by local artists who volunteer their time and expertise.

This year, Tyndale Arts will take place from October 5th to October 8th, beginning on Thursday 5th with “Cut and Construct; the Craft of a Costume Maker”, a fascinating talk at Kingshill House by Lois Edmunds, part time costume making tutor at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and a freelance costume maker.

This will be followed over the weekend of 7th and 8th October by exhibitions featuring a diverse range of artists in six shared venues throughout Dursley. We are proud to provide up to 45 artists, including several from Stinchcombe, with the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work, offering a unique and enriching experience for both artists and visitors.

More details of the talk, exhibitions and artists can be found at www.tyndalearts.co.uk.
