The sixth Tyndale Arts event takes place next week in Dursley. Tyndale Arts showcases the best, affordable work by artists and makers from the Dursley area. Including painters, sculptors, photographers and workers in textiles, ceramics, glass and much more.
The event starts with The Art of Making an Animated Film, a talk by Richard Edmunds, Art Director at Aardman. Richard will talk us through the art of creating much-loved characters like Wallace & Grommit and Shaun the Sheep and bringing much-loved stories to life. The talk takes place at Kingshill House at 7.30pm on Thursday 29th September – but the bar will be open from 7.00. Tickets are £8.00 each and available in advance from www.tyndalearts.co.uk or www.kingshillhouse.org.uk
Over the weekend of 1st and 2nd October, 38 artists, including several from Stinchcombe, will be exhibiting their work in five venues in Dursley
- Kingshill House,
- Dursley Tabernacle,
- Dursley Methodist Church,
- The King’s Head
- Leaf and Ground.
Entrance to all venues is free, most of them are within walking distance of each other and all are accessible.
