The Village Green
Cut and Raked
This area of grass on Stinchcombe hill by the trig point is the village green, strangely as it is so far from the village. It has recently been cut and is in the process of being raked by the Wednesday volunteers.
Parts of the hill are sites of special scientific interest (SSSI) maintained by the volunteers of the Stinchcombe Hill Trust under the auspices of Chris Wiltshire. If anyone is interested in helping contact Chris for details.
