The Five Peaks Challenge
Each year Dursley & District RNLI volunteers organise a fund-raising walk called The Five Peaks Challenge. The next walk will be on Sunday 24 April 2022.
The walk is on public footpaths. Much of which is part of the Cotswold Way, and visits our “Five Peaks” in 7.7 miles (12km). Climbing about 1800 feet (570m) in total. Bring the family, walk the dog, and have a great time looking at the area from a different point of view. Even if you do not walk much, do not worry. They are only “little peaks”, but very beautiful with magnificent views. Get your friends, relations and work colleagues to sponsor you, or make a donation to the RNLI, while you explore our wonderful part of Gloucestershire. Last time our walkers raised over £4000.
Peaks:
- Coaley Peak,
- Uley Bury,
- Downham Hill (“Smallpox”),
- Cam Peak
- Cam Long Down.
