Mark and I have recently discovered the new Everest Nepalese restaurant on Long Street and have been very impressed by the food, service and surroundings there.

We enjoyed a terrific meal here celebrating our 15th anniversary of moving to Stinchcombe last month. Beautifully prepared and presented fresh dishes in a very pleasant atmosphere by friendly professional staff.

The evening felt like a fine dining experience, and last night’s takeaway was equally delicious. Certainly a cut above the other Asian restaurants close by.

Smokery and Restaurant

The Severn & Wye Smokery is an amazing place, set within a converted barn with contemporary and stylish touches throughout. They smoke everything on the premises, have an impressive fish counter, farm shop, deli counter, gift shop, cafe and a very smart restaurant on the first floor. They also deliver.

Review

The food was sublime, spotless surroundings in a light and airy setting with interior nods to the sea. Wheelchair lift access. First class service from very professional and friendly staff. The Moule was incredibly fresh, clean and succulent, as was my Lobster. The Kedgeree was fantastic and could have fed 2 people. Rarely do I leave a restaurant completely delighted and thoroughly impressed but The Severn & Wye left us dumbstruck! Not expensive for such high end cuisine. Mike

Booking essential, eat first before cruising the farm shop and deli! Outrageous cheese counter and impressive frozen seafood in the farm shop.
