Workshop for Property Owners and anyone interested in the Conservation of Older Buildings

Saturday 9th June, Quaker Meeting House, Gloucester 10.00am – 3.00pm

Do you own an older property?

As part of the Heritage Lottery Funded Southgate Street Townscape Heritage Initiative a series of workshops are being organised on aspects of looking after older buildings. The next event takes place on the 9th June and is a workshop on using suitable materials and methods of repair.

 

Places are limited, so early booking is advised.

 

Further workshops will be run over the next 6-8 months on the topics below.

 

  • How to read older buildings and a history of architectural styles
  • Creating an energy efficient home
  • Reinstating original plaster, render and ornamental detailing
  • Older buildings and the planning system
  • Causes of damp and how to treat them
