Stinchcombe Charities – Trustee Retirement and Vacancies

Comments Off on Stinchcombe Charities – Trustee Retirement and Vacancies

The trustees would like to send our sincere thanks to Mrs Diana Clutterbuck for her care and commitment during the 22 years that she was a trustee of the Stinchcombe Charities. We thank Di for her support of the Charities and her service to our community.

For those that are not already aware, the Charities¬†administers two charities. Firstly, Stinchcombe United Charities which gives grants to the old and needy in Stinchcombe, and secondly, Matthew Tyndall’s Educational Foundation which provides educational grants to young people in the village. The trustees of the Charities usually meet once a year in November, however occasionally extraordinary meetings are held at other times of the year if required.

The Charities now have two vacancies for trustees and we welcome applications for consideration by 20 October 2018. Applications should be made in writing to:

The Trustees, Stinchcombe United Charities, 3 Coombe Gardens, The Street, Stinchcombe GL11 6AP.

In particular we welcome applications from anyone who has connections in the village that will enable them to recommend individuals for support from either the Stinchcombe United Charities or Matthew Tyndall’s Educational Foundation.

If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact Mr Ken Jelfs, Clerk to the Trustees, or any of the trustees.
