Attending in Person:

  • We have limited capacity but following last week’s trial service have decided not to issue tickets. Please arrive in good time; maintain social distancing and follow the instructions of the wardens.
  • The Church of England is now “strongly recommending” that face masks are worn in church.
  • The 9:30 service will be filled and streamed live, if you do not wish to be filmed please ask to be seated in a side aisle.
  • If possible please bring your own hand sanitiser to clean you hands before & after receiving communion.

Watching remotely:

  • The 9:30 service from St George will be live streamed on YOUTUBE on the St George Cam Channel. You can also watch it later on YouTube or listen to the service by telephone for Monday morning on 01453 708200. A link will also be posted on our facebook page.
  • The ORDER OF SERVICE is available to download. See below for notices.

Notices

  • St George and St Cyr are open from 10-4 for individual private prayer. Please follow the guidelines when you enter church using the hand sanitiser and keeping 2m from others.
  • Foodbank:   Supermarkets have baskets for donations or you can go to the foodbank website to donate.
  • Pop- Up Creative Cafes. Fiona would like to know if you can help with making cakes, commit to pray for it, or to help practically on Thursday morning for next 4 weeks. Thank you to those who have already offered help. Fiona will be in touch – particularly as the cakes need to observe certain making requirements because of the Pandemic.
  • Fairtrade and Eco goods are still available from Debbie Jones by emailing debbie.j.jones@btinternet.com or phoning 07761 157466. Goods can be either delivered or collected, just get in touch. 
  • New Wine has moved online. So from the comfort of your home you can access a Christian conference for all ages. See the website www.new-wine.org for more information or check out their YouTube channel or App
  • The Exodus study guide – an opportunity for you to look at God’s word on your own, in your own time frame and explore more how the ancient words in Exodus can guide in our own 21st Century lives. Available from eden.co.uk or other sources. Over the Summer , if you would like to, there will be an opportunity to come together to informally chat about the book too.
