Robot Sighting on Stinchcombe Hill
A robot has arrived on Stinchcombe Hill – fortunately a friendly one, content to amble along in front of its keeper.
Robocut is capable of handling slopes up to 55 degrees so today’s work was child’s play. It will be mowing other limestone grassland slopes around the Hill up to the end of March.
Without mowing or grazing, coarse grasses and scrub would gradually take over and wildlife diversity would be reduced.
