Stinchcombe History Society Long Shot

We are in the process of transcribing several indentures concerning land and land owners in Stinchcombe dating from the mid 1700’s to mid 1800’s which are on loan to us.

As part of this exercise further research was undertaken at Gloucestershire archives which has produced a further land document we think from the mid 1700’s and which we believe concerns the Trotman and Tyndale families but appears to be written in Latin, our question is, do we have anyone in the village who has any knowledge of Latin and if we do or who knows someone does, would they be willing to have a go at transcribing it for us?.

It is not a large document, if fact compared to the others we have it is quite small but if it can be transcribed it could well add a little more to the village knowledge pot. If anyone thinks they may be able to help please contact Trudy
